Hey'all! New project here. I'm currently based down in Pittsburgh and I'm missing my home of Upstate New York a bunch. For this project I wanted to tap into the colors and senses of my summers in the Adirondacks that I remember most. For me, this meant warm pine needles blanketing the ground, tannin-soaked waters lapping at the shores, lots of reeds whistling in the breeze, and of course, the new-growth firs that wrap the earth up in their roots.

I was inspired mainly by the Azure Span kit and Concept Art from Dragonflight for style, but leaned a bit more toony for the stylization of the branches to capture some fun motion for this diorama.
